Teaching notes, included with all cases, help instructors structure class discussion and enrich students’ understanding of the case subject’s decision-making process. Teaching notes are unique to each case and include advice for instructors about the target audience of the case, learning objectives, the particular theories and frameworks used, and strategies for using the case in the classroom.
To view teaching notes, you must have instructor access. Instructor access is only granted to institutional subscriptions.
Once you have been granted instructor access, follow these steps to access your teaching notes:
- Log in or create an account on the CSSM website. If you have an existing account with HumanKinetics.com or any Human Kinetics journal website, you may use the same user name and password on the CSSM website.
- Navigate to your case of interest.
- Click the Teaching Notes link at the top of the case.
- Select and download the Teaching Notes PDF document that accompanies your chosen case.
