Darin Padua is an assistant professor and program director of the accredited undergraduate athletic training education program in the Department of Exercise and Sport Science at the University of North Carolina. He also serves as the assistant director for the Sports-Medicine Research Laboratory and is an adjunct faculty member in the Departments of Orthopaedics and Biomedical Engineering.

Stephen Marshall is an associate professor of epidemiology in the School of Public Health at the University of North Carolina. He holds a joint appointment in the Department of Orthopaedics in the School of Medicine and is core faculty in the UNC Injury Prevention Research Center.
