Stephanie Mazerolle is the Program Director for the entry-level Athletic Training Program at the University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT. She has been involved in athletic training education for over 8 years, and her research interests include work and family balance, qualitative methodology, and athletic training clinical education.

Pouran Faghri is Professor in the Department of Allied Health Sciences with an emphasis on health promotion disease and disability prevention. Dr. Faghri also has joint appointments as professor with the Biomedical Engineering Program, School of Engineering and the Department of Community Medicine and Health Care (MPH and PhD Programs) at the University of Connecticut Health Center.

Melissa Marcinick is a certified athletic trainer now working as an intern at Jacksonville University. The data presented in this paper was part of a research project conducted during her graduate studies at the University of Connecticut.

Stephanie Milazzo is an athletic trainer in the Sports Medicine Department at Villanova University in Villanova, PA.
