Michael Koester received his undergraduate degree in athletic training at UNLV. He went on to medical school at the University of Nevada and completed a residency in pediatrics at Children’s Hospital in Seattle. He has published on various sports-medicine topics and volunteered as team physician at three local high schools. He is also involved with the Sports Medicine Committee of the Oregon Schools Activities Association.
