Ben Velasquez is the acting program director of the athletic training education program and an associate professor of Human Performance at the University of Southern Mississippi, Hattiesburg. He earned his doctoral degree from Middle Tennessee State University.

Jan Drummond is the Physical Education Curriculum Coordinator and an associate professor in Human Performance at the University of Southern Mississippi and has degrees in health and physical education from Oklahoma State University.
