Michael P. Sheridan, Ph.D. has more than 25 years of experience in education as a head college and high school coach, teacher, and administrator. Sheridan is an editorial board member and associate editor of the International Sport Coaching Journal (ISCJ). He served as a member of the task force for the revision of the National Standards for Sport Coaches for the Society of Health and Physical Educators-America (SHAPE). He is also a member of the editorial board of Future Focus, a refereed journal for the Ohio Association of Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (OHAHPERD). He is an elementary physical education teacher in the Tri-Valley School District, Ohio.
