Matthew Vierimaa is an assistant professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Health Science at Utah State University. His program of research broadly spans the areas of sport expertise, coaching, and positive youth development. He is interested in examining the roles of interpersonal and cultural factors in enhancing youth’s sport performance, participation, and personal development.
Marshall Grimm is a doctoral student in the Family and Human Development program at Utah State University. His research interests are in positive youth development and fostering family relationships through organized youth sport. He is also interested in how parents and children interact and communicate with each other.
