Paul R. Geisler is the director of the Athletic Training Education Program at Ithaca College, Ithaca, NY, with 28 years of clinical experience in high school, clinical, professional, and university/college settings. His scholarly interests include medical cognition, clinical reasoning, and athletic training education curriculum design. His chief focus in athletic training education is to help students and professionals to reflect on their learning and reasoning strategies to enhance clinical decision-making and professional practice.
